AMMAN — The Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development (JOHUD) on Wednesday launched the Queen Alia Competition for Social Responsibility under the theme “Environmental and economic benefits of sorting and recycling”, a JOHUD statement said.

Over 600,000 people are expected to participate in the contest, proceeds of which will support programmes for people with disabilities, the statement said.

The deadline for submitting application is February 14, 2013 and the winners will be announced at a ceremony on March 6, 2013.
