The blog has news items, which are continually updated, links and pages, which change only occasionally.

NEWS: The most recent postings are in the middle column.  “Recent postings” in the right column has the 15 most recent postings.  The left column has an “archive” for each month.  Clicking on the archive for any month will list all the items posted that month, with the first few lines after each headline. The archive function is the easiest way to get a full list of recent postings, with headlines and initial text.

You may read by chronological order.  It is also possible to use the simple but powerful search option.  A search word (e.g. “water”) will bring up all the articles in which that word is used.  Two search words will bring up all the articles in which both words are used.  It is possible to search for all the postings from a particular newspaper, or in which particular country is mentioned.

LINKS:  The links are limited to those places in cyberspace that take an explicitly regional perspective.  Some organizations define their regional area of interest in different ways, but all include the Eastern Mediterranean.  The EcoPeace / Friends of the Earth Middle East website has an extensive list of environmental and peacebuilding links: Israeli, Palestinian, Jordanian and regional, along with official agreements; readers are referred there.

PAGES:  The pages listed across the top add other useful information.  “About” gives background information.  “Methodology” lists the sources consulted.  “Recommended Reading” contains a short reading list.  It is not intended to be a full bibliography on environment and climate change in the Eastern Mediterranean.  Some of the items listed are available on the internet and are linked.

HOW TO POST:  Subscribers to the blog may also post.  Each subscriber is sent an email with instructions how to post.
