NABLUS, Wednesday, July 10, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli forces seized today a garbage truck owned by Beit Fourik village council in the north to the West Bank, according to a village official.

Ata Samara, health inspector at Beit Fourik village council, told WAFA that soldiers seized a car and the garbage truck when they were on their way to a dumpster east of the village to unload the garbage as is done every day.

He said the soldiers held the drivers of the two vehicles and a third employee.

Samara said the dumpster is located in Area B of the West Bank, which is administered by the Palestinian Authority but falls under Israeli military rule, adding that the village council was not informed by the army banning it from dumping the village garbage in that area, which is the only dumpster used by the village.

He said the seizure of the truck and car is part of an effort by the Israeli army to make life difficult for the Palestinians in that village.
